We are an independent travel eSIM guide run by frequent travellers who got tired of guessing which data plan would actually work at the destination.
What This Guide Is
This is an independent affiliate guide to travel eSIM. We compare coverage, networks and plan structures for the destinations we visit, then link to the provider we use ourselves - Yesim.
We are not a mobile operator. We do not sell eSIMs, run our own network or issue SIM profiles. We check which local mobile operators the eSIM app connects to, what coverage those networks offer, and whether the data allowances make sense for a short trip or a month-long stay.
Every country page lists the local operators the provider's eSIM uses, the regions where those networks have strong coverage, and the plan types available. When we write that a network covers mountain trails or beach towns, we mean we have checked that operator's published footprint or installed the eSIM there ourselves.
How We Check the Facts
We start with the roaming partner lists supplied by the eSIM app. These tell us which local mobile operators the data plan will use in each country.
We install the eSIM ourselves when we travel. That means checking signal strength in cities, along highways, in rural areas and sometimes on hiking trails. We do not promise specific speeds, but we note when a network drops to slower bands or has no coverage at all.
Travellers send us reports about coverage gaps, installation issues and data consumption. We update the guides when multiple readers confirm the same problem or improvement.
We re-check plan prices every month. The last update was September 2026. All prices are shown as from-prices because the eSIM app runs promotions and the exact cost depends on data allowance and plan duration.
